pickguns and snapguns on biaxials?

Tool recommendations, information on your favorite automatic and/or mechanical lockpicking devices for those with less skills, or looking to make their own.

I can safely say that I’ve not touched a half diamond in months… or any pick other than a short hook for that matter. I always thought that as I would become more skilled in lock picking, I would start to use all the various picks and tools, and need to buy an even wider array, but it is just the opposite. I find I need less and less, and I think I’ve fell in love with the sort hook. If it’s a tight keyway the short hook doesn’t work in, I use Peterson’s slender gem.

I guess the reasoning for this is I mostly single pin pick, while most other tools are for raking/jiggling of sorts. But I’ve actually had my brand new Falle’s for a while now, and they remain brand new and untouched. I’m not sure what I’m waiting for, I just haven’t found the need I guess.

I have given it some thought and I think that it just mught work because if the flat needle strikes the slanted surface of the biaxial pin, it could knock it up as well as turning it. It may not get the slots aligned to the sidebar but it will open sooner or later.

Well i agree it can happen, as anything int his world can. But if you pu the variables including the side bar, false notches, the mushroom pins, and the multiple angles and finding the right side bar notch.

Over all its like a 1 in 2000 chance?.. guys is that high enough? I mean i tried my snap gun on my biaxle and its a no go. I mean single pin picking is certianly not the only way, but the snap gun just wont cut it.

I mean maybe on a cam, but theres no upper pins so bouncing tension, you could maybe budge it? I never had one to try.
