Er whoops! Any chance that myself or one of you mods could correct that to DIY please? What about my question pertaining to security pinned locks and a snap pick?

Yeah as I said before, it actually does give more "feel" than using the cannon-like power of the snap pick. Though I'm going to redesign the upper "head" of the gun to be more low profile, since the main caveat of the traditional snap pick is that I can fit it + my picks and tensioners in 1 eye-glass case, where as with the "gun" I cannot... But it works great and has removable picks! Though I haven't been able to snap a security lock yet, everything else takes a few tries and they are popped!

***I'm going to attempt a BEST SFIC cylinder when I can get a hold of one... BTW- do I really need to make a specialized tensioner for BESTs? And if so, what's the distance between the individual "prongs/fingers" for them?

how does a snapgun word? is it the same way as the jigsaw pick thing? any footage available?

A snapgun works the same as a pickgun it doesnt move the bottom pins at all it just gives them a whack transferring the whack onto the top pins.

you have a very creative design there, it solves the lack of handle that is part of the usual design of a coathanger pick gun. I have a design modification that I may build,... while you have a sping loop at the bottom of the handle, dampend perhaps by the grip, I would place that spring loop at the top, where you have a stop in the web of the thumb forefinger area. the spring loop on the blade shaft is an addition to the usual design that looks very functional. congratulations on an excellent piece.

I just tried this and it works pretty well. I do prefer manually picking with regular old picks, but overall-good stuff man! Thanks.

Hay good work, Made myself one in a smaller version.
1 snap and it opened a 40 x 45mm 5 pin lockwood padlock.
Question? can the snap tool open all lock's or is this just dreaming.
