Im making a new automatic pick, pls help

Tool recommendations, information on your favorite automatic and/or mechanical lockpicking devices for those with less skills, or looking to make their own.

Hadrollo I get your idea and its a clever one for a Nooby (im pressuming this because of your No. of posts, nothing else) But really, the hard part of picking is getting the right tension, any idiot can push the pins up. Read the MIT guide, understand a bit more how a lock works AND how picking works, and hopefully you can make us all an amazing picking gadget that requires no user activity at all!

I don't think this "electric pick" idea would work... Atleast not how I understand it presented... Unless the up/down motion were to be very very slow, and more of a slowly-up-motion-until-you-feel-the-pin-set, but then again this is just a Sputnik pick on electric steroids. Here's a video of one such tool, and a link to the site. I believe that you have to contact the site owner by email to actually get a sputnik pick, but they seem very handy. :o
