Tubular pick recommendation

Tool recommendations, information on your favorite automatic and/or mechanical lockpicking devices for those with less skills, or looking to make their own.

I own the Peterson Pro tubular lockpick and to quite say the least ... it's a good lockpick but it somehow breaks the hole in the lock where the tension is. Or am I forcing too much ? So far I've picked it 3 times.

I admit i have pimped my SO quite a bit but it eats ace locks just the same as any other its just so weak, i put it down to practice and experiance,

As regards you ripping locks appart with the pro-1?
I dont know how you are doing that unless they are really bad locks but yes if your breaking things dont you think its safe to assume your doing somthign wrong?

Lessen off on the tension, the pro-1 wont work with too much anyway,
I take it you dont use it like you would the SO ones? if you are you need to learn how to use it properly,

The Pro-1 is MUCH heavier than other tubular picks, and has a large diameter region to hold when providing tension. This makes it easy to overtension your locks. But as for breaking the locks? This is really surprizing to me. Definately ease up on the tension and tell us how you get on. A picture of one of the locks youve killed would be helpful too.
