Ok, I just wanted to let you know that the name of the brand is ANCO. They have them in the black and red packages, but they also had them in yellow and blue packages. I asked a clerk and she said that these are the new packs, so if you go to walmart look for yellow and blue, but the brand name is ANCO. They have great inserts. Hope this helps.
I hear what you are saying.....that doesn't mean I agree with you....Just that I am nodding my head to placate you and silence your futile attempts to win the argument.

My local service station just saves all of the old windshield wipers for me (I asked and they seemed happy to do so). I get a few sets every time I get gas.

there seem to be a variety of different inserts, I have seen some that look like the quarter inch wide ones that are thicker, and there are the split type with the littel barbs on them, someone should be the resident expert on these things and post a photo of comparison different types. also show where they come out of the rubber,
I can't do it as I havent found a wiper insert since last year, for me they are a little bit scarce, but they are stainless, so if you live in a humid or rainy place, that would be the type of material you want for your picks.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!

Also, most of the metal blades or backing strips I have are NAPA because that is what the service center that gives me their used blades uses.
