You really don't need that if you are interested in picking locks as a hobby. You will never have an edit button, but I have one. If you need an edit let me know.

Freakparade makes a very good point, if you're interested in this as a hobby then I see no reason why you'd want this. If you're looking to turn pro then it may well be a good purchase for the speed it offers. You could make your own much more cheaply though.

The Southord EPG is probably the least professionally rated on the market, at least in the UK. Most people start with an HPC, then move onto a Wendt if they are really keen.
Alternatively, a lot of people are finding that modding the HPC or coverting something like a Bosch IXO produces excellent results. I use my converted Bosch IXO daily and wouldn't swap it for anything. Except maybe a brand new van. Or a holiday.
If you only pick locks as a hobby then an EPG is fun for 5 minutes. Making one or modifying a screwdriver is a good hobby project tho... but you'll still be bored of buzzing locks open after 5 mins.

I'd suggest buying a new keyboard instead of an EPG, because your sentences lack a fair amount of letters

If you do buy one go to Peterson's website and pick up the stainless tips since the ones that come with it break fairly easily and also tend to rust. I bought one of these over 12 years ago and it just sits in my toolbox. However, my Rytan stainless set, bought around the same time, never sleeps for long:)

THESE come stock with all the letters you need, and you can even use them in the dark...so you wont have anymore trouble

well thermite is a pyrotechnic powder of aluminum and iron oxide powders combined, when ignited it creates a chemical reaction tha can cause temperatures up to 2500 °C, and that my friend will take apart a lock much quicker, and much cheaper, then a southord electro pick. which for the fun it gives (besides applying the vibrating feature eleswhere) opening a lock I put the cool and fun reccomendation onto the thermite. fyi add a little magnesium to get it to burn quicker!
