ok so i decided to give the pick guns a try and i hate it so far.

the time it takes for me to open it with the gun not to mention the annoying noise is ALOT longer than me just spp the lock.

im practicing but i dont think im getting this down.

The biggest tip that I can give for using a snap gun is to use really really light pressure. The lighter the pressure, the more the pins will jump, and you'll learn what to feel for when they have all caught the sheer line. I don't think that it's really meant to replace spp, it's just another option.

ok so ive been practicing and once i got the tension dialed, ive been opening every single lock i can find. well in my house atleast.

its the brockhage pick gun. what i do is i bounce the tension. it seems to work but for the locks that i know i kinda have a feel for how much i need to use.

i set the tension on the gun halfway too. i try not to adjust it after that.

Don't know if you've seen this, but it's a video of using your pick.

Whatever you do don't buy a Ilco pick gun. Had one and it sucked. Came with the FB course so I'm glad I didn't pay for such a crappy gun. I was way past the free pick gun offer when I enrolled but they sent it to me anyways.
