Hi everyone.. Today I made my first plug spinner its not totally complete my grinders not working so I still need to grind down the end to fit a keyway. I made it from 1- 1/4"x4" bolt, 6 thick black 1/4" washers, 1-1/4"
grey washer, 4-1/4" nuts, a cool wrench I had, that I drilled a hole in for a handle, 1-1 1/2" spring and solider. You can find all of the stuff at home depot or any other hardware store.
how long did it take you to make this tool and how much more or less you spend to make this tool thanks for your info, i am trying to see if it's cheaper to buy one or or make this one and spend more thanks
I guess you spin the top while you hold the black lever, then let go of the top to let it spin, right? Is there some sort of locking mechanism to lock the top when you're tightening it, so you can let go of it for awhile or preload it?
Thank you Greywood. The decoder looks nice but don't work really. He is working very inaccurately. I plan to build a new version when I get my new lathe.
