Hey i was just wondering what you planned on doing for the jutting handle. Simply reshaping it sounds like a good idea but you might then not have enough clearance for the snap. Other then that you would have to rework the movement ratio inside so there could be less movement on the outside for the same on the inside. Or simply extending the pick connector you rigged up would work fine too i guess. I was just wondering what you planned on doing.

Thanks, Mike.

Pickmachinist,

I was admiring (drooling) over your project. Perhaps a small round interchangeable flat one side 7 short pins on the other, or 8 depending and you have yourself bump gun for ace locks. Since the movement of travel is the same from start to finish, this could be a very possible concept. The major drawback to this is perhaps making it so the linear movement forward stops so the pins remain in contact with the keypins and apply some type of turning force at the same time. You could create quite possibly the first snap gun for ace style locks. Market it and sell it on fleabay and craigslist for exponential amounts of money!
