Hi guys, In Bumpkeying did it happen to you hitting your finger lots of time? well it does with me. Ive been expirementing on how to set my fingers away from the key using a tension wrench, a spring but the result was very poor. and this came an idea which to my belief is just fine. Here is my Bumpkey TWISTER tool finish product (picture only) and since i am not allowed to show its performance here in video(as it says "advance") and not for Gen. member viewing. Just drop by on my You tube entry titled " Bumpkey Twister" see for yourself its performance. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn11 ... wister.jpg

Hi Yono. Nice first post.
Most of us just stick a screwdriver through the keyring hole if we want to do that. Yours is a nice solution, but would it pass the "toolbox test" (that is, would it be useful enough to stay in your toolbox). For me, this is a good start, but I think you might be able to improve it?
I can only see a video of it, not experince the actual "heft" of the twister, so forgive me if I'm assuming incorrectly here.
1) It looks a little "heavy" reducing your sensitivity to when to twist. Can you make it from something nice an light, like aluminium where possible?
2) It looks a little cumbersome when you have to pull the key out again. Could you make it clamp onto the key perhaps and have a spring against the lock, so the clamp itself will "spring" the key out for the next go?
Just a couple of thoughts, good luck with your idea!

Hi CroMon, that just great! But you havent mention where we get it from? Ok i'll break the news to our fellow members, It came from a "Triple Holes paper puncher" the ones you can easily found in offices. Those who prefer a light tool, you can look for the Eagle type Puncher, they are made of plastic with a metal support in its opening, that is just suitable to accomodate a normat key. the "Stem" (or holder) you can use a common aluminum tube that we use as a plug follower. so no fabrication at all! ITS READY MADE BY COINCIDENCE" just a little imaginations. Enjoy see picture..to give you the idea further, thanks for the interest. Good work CroMon.. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn11 ... er2004.jpg
