That's still really clever even though it hasn't been very successful. Very nice attempt. ^.^

Very cool attempt indeed. What sort of voltage do you think you'd need in order to make this design drive the pins well enough?

I have had pretty good luck with making electric shavers into lockpicks.

I use a small 1/2 diamond on the end of most of them. I used to make them and sell them at gun shows for 30-50 bucks each. I buy old shavers at goodwill stores and thrift stores.

dave 568, i think the difficulty of the shaver pick gun that i built is the motor that drives it. if the motor is strong enough, let say 9 or 12VDC 1amp. its suitable enough for the purpose. i saw one guy on you tube that built one using a hair trimmer and the result is good. regards.
