Has anyone had any luck with this?

Tool recommendations, information on your favorite automatic and/or mechanical lockpicking devices for those with less skills, or looking to make their own.

Has anyone had any luck with this?

We get a fair amount of Sentry safes with touch pad locks. I've been researching tools to get into these safes non-destructively for the customers. The last one that came in had a 4 x AA battery pack, so I knew it ran off of 6 volts. I removed the battery pack. I had a DC voltage generator set to 6 volts. I removed the wires from the touch pad then tried connecting the voltage generator to all of the wires quickly. Nothing happened. I've read that people have luck spiking black and green with a 9V battery. I reattached the touchpad, then set the voltage generator to 9V. I spiked the black and green wires. This time the servo opened. Unfortunately, it fried the servo and the touch pad. While I can get the safes open in this manner, I would much prefer to do it non-destructively. So, I scoured the internet. I found a $4,000 device which is WAY out of my price range. Then I saw the dumb black box by Mr. Locksmith, but I get a bad feeling about him. So, I found this tool by SerePick.com https://www.serepick.com/products/e-safe. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on it or had any experience with it. I know it's only $65 and it only has a few specific uses, but I can't afford much more.

Thank you very much. Thats reassuring. I've never purchased from there, so I was a bit concerned about that, too.

Don't get me wrong... I fully support SerePick, and I have purchased from them before, and probably will do so again. I was just listing another reputable place with good tools.
