I have found that if i can not pick the lock open with a pick the elc pick gun dose not work in it or anything else except drilling it out.
So having a ELC pick has been no help at all for me i can count that as another thing that was a wast of money along with the non elc pick gun that never works on anything except new practice locks. In the field it has never worked yet. Bumping has worked much better using a auto hammer.

My experience has also been that locks susceptible to electric picks can be spp. Locks that refuse picking also refuse the electric approach. It may be that the really high end electrics are adjustable enough to assist on the hard locks but I am not going to spend $600 to find out.

I have one of the KLOM Lock Pick guns.

The pick gun comes in an orange color with a metal adapter for a pick and one that looks like a drill, but isnt a drill. I have used these on my doors and they work well. The only problem I've had with it was learning how to use it. After that, it was simply easy.

Also, the person who bought the pick gun had to buy a adapter for the pick gun. I bought one on amazon for about 5 dollars shipped for 3. its a one inch by one inch cube that attaches to the end of the pick charger, which by the way, is two round prongs.

Since I live in the states, the adapter was an essential part of this pick gun.

Price: about 50 - 60 Dollars
Rating: 4 Stars

This pick gun also comes with various picks: Hooks, diamonds, snake rakes, etc and the occasional flat gun pick.
It does come with the rubber ones too, but like everyone said, I have no idea what they are for.

I forgot to mention that all of this comes with a case that holds everything together.

Overall I like the KLOM EPG. I find that it especially helps with corroded, old dirty locks that makes it hard to feel out the pins. I have several padlocks that this pick gun rips open very very quickly, yet it takes me much longer to pick manually (mostly because of rust). Giving the appropriate tension is, as always, very important. That being said, I noticed that a certain interior piece of the EPG is eroding/wearing rapidy; I'm not sure if I'm assembling it wrong, but I'll post pictures in a new thread soon.
If you do not manipulate the lock, then the lock will manipulate you
