Make sure the snap isnt absorbed by your hand though.

no.... If you look ath the pic, you will be pulling the spring arm up. When you let go, it hits the top of the bar thus creating a downward motion.

Hes actually holding the pen in the lock and snapping the other part, hes squeezing then letting go of the other part to snap hence why i said make sure the shock isnt absorbed.

then i don't see it being able to work due to the direction of the kinetic transference that a pickgun relies on to move the pins. momentum would be away from the lock. Unless the user were holding the pen or the bar connected to the pen and then if the users hand were directly on or too close with a holding aparatus of some sort, physics would dictate that his mass would absorb most of the vibration and the lock pins very little
just my 2 pennies

No what he is doing as ive already said is that he is letting go of the OTHER part of the gun that we would usually hold on to. instead of snapping the other part he is snapping the normally staitionary part.
I dont think it would work as i said your hand will remove the force.
As i/we said try it and get back to us but if you stick with the other thread i first linked to you will find far better solutions to the ideas
Goon, dont think its hot enough yet for a locking but thats your choice of course
