i wont be emailing , pm or anything else to anyone, just after a cheap deal on tools.

in pursuit of the best price tools in the uk, i will be posting a list of online shops offering the best price deals at the end of the weekend.

what anyone does with this list is up to them, myself i will buy the tools i want at the best available prices in the uk from where they are ultimately cheapest.

i doubt it.
i doubt very much anyone would be stupid enough to have a shop and fiddle the revenue, just plain stupid.

i applaud your price drops poolmaster, and thank you for this as im sure will your future customers, i wonder if CD will match , or does he really believe he is too big now to care ?

i think he believes he is too big to care, he is the most obnoxious man i ever had the pleasure to meet, he thinks he is god , he will get a nasty shock one day when we become better known and get the exposure we deserve and all his customers come to us

Good luck to you with this quest , its a shame all you other online stores dont get together and all agree a fair profit on your tools and work together to achieve this goal.
Though i guess thats harder to do in reality, much like locksmiths actually working together.

if tools become more affordable , i win as does every uk member here.

so good luck

Been away for a couple of days and missed all the fun by the sounds of it.

Tools at good prices, everyone wins eh. I'll be taking a look at a few sites now to see if they follow suit, be good to hit CD's sales too :D

From my own trawling the net and comparing prices in the uk only ive come up with following findings, these are just my opinions and findings only and im sure likely to change as suppliers fight for their market shares.

Top 4 For Prices on the Net

Nelocksmithsupplies.co.uk
Rapidlocksmith.com
Guildfordlocks.com

Top 3 for product range

Guildfordlocks.com
Uk bump keys
Rapidlocksmith.com

Top site for domestic tool range and price

Guildfordlocks.com
Nelocksmithsupplies

Top site for auto tools

Rapidlocksmith.com

Every siite below has a few gems, so all are worth a visit, if to just make your own mind up.

nelocksmithsupplies.co.uk

some tools are well priced and many are not , however a few tools such as the klom gun is currently the cheapest by 50p.
range is currently limited , it will be interesting to see if a direct copy of the uk bump key and chris dangerfields site model will do well or not.
But for now , some well priced tools and some not so well priced tools, but the cheapest klom gun on the market by 50p.

Rapidlocksmith.com

The best range of quality auto lockpicks on the net , they sell the best only , the lishi/song tools, but far cheaper than any other uk supplier , the song picks and decoders at half anyone elses prices.

The import tools are amongst the cheapest on the net, and state that another 8 tools will be released next week at lower prices than elsewhere, within 6 weeks they claim they will do all worthwhile tools stocked by ukbk for far less, so interesting times ahead. However like nelocksmithsupplies the current range of import tools are limited at present, but unlike nelocksmithsupplies all tools are well priced and cheaper than elsewhere, though im sure this mail will prompt this to change again.

Guildfordlocks.com

An excellent range of both domestic and auto tools , probably the biggest range of quality domestic tools on the net , some are very pricey but I expect a far better quality than the import tools , and similar auto tools to rapidlocksmith.com , another that’s only just started selling these imported tools and again at very cheap prices, I suspect rapid and Guildford work together as they sell the same import tools at the same prices and all amongst the best value available.

Also claiming 8 new products at the best net prices next week.

Uklockpickers.co.uk

Seems to be another copy of the dangerfield model, and I expect another who saw through the guy and set up in competition.
Again limited stock range and limited to imports, but better prices than uk bump keys and not as good as Nelocksmithsupplies , Rapidlocksmith.com and guildfordlocks.com on price .

But another that seems to be selling the UKBK range far cheaper than UKBK , so another that’s worth a look, especially as competition hots up and prices fall.

Devonlocks.com

Not a bad range of tools , but sadly mostly well overpriced

Ukbumpkeys.com

They stormed on the scene with their forum and cheap imported tool range from china, also selling bump keys to all and sundry , did very well very quickly by selling cheap import tools.
However it seems many more firms now exist selling the same tools as UKBK at far cheaper prices , so currently one of the dearest on the import tools on the net.
However a good varied product range , and a few gems , but on the whole overpriced at present.

www.locksmith4u.com

well overpriced tool range , many tools at double or treble the prices of others on here.

derekjohnson.co.uk/index2.html

another overpriced

centrallox.co.uk

another overpriced supplier , it seems bought from sks and a mark up added

superb, now the cheapest supplier of individual lishi picks and a few other prices dropped heavily too.

Its amazing the effect 1 single thread on here has had on the uk import locktool market, 3 suppliers have all dropped their prices by at least 30% in some cases by as much as 50% , shocks me how much profit they must have been making last week, long may it continue.

shame it took a public thread like this to get a fair deal, but long may it continue.

excellent , but better if you held stock , i personally would pay the few pence more to get them next day rather than 7 to 10 days later, but if it works good luck.

keep those prices falling

i have had mails now from 4 of the suppliers in this thread , all have stated that they will release every worthwhile imported product released by UKBK considerably cheaper within 2 to 3 weeks of release , but only the good products and not the chaff.

interesting times ahead for the pick buyers out there.

i notice ukbk is now selling a £5 pack of mica for £15 plus vat , as every wholesaler sells this to lockies at £5 a pack, im sure every one of above will be offering mica at £7.50 a pack half the ukbk extortionate price.

Thats just plain greedy.

Someone who knows such things brought it to my attention that the OP and many of the contributers to this thread are involved with or are the owners of the sites advertised to be the "good ones" in this thread. Please refrain from using LP101 as a ploy to advertise your products and your site. Thanks
