I am building my own automatic picker

Postby twista_in_a_lock » 10 Apr 2006 15:10

HI all.
Sorry if my english is bad : i am french.
I am newbie in lockpicking.
But i am building my automatic lockpicker.
I took an electric toothbrush Braun Brand. I took this one because it's the one i use everyday ! You can exchange the headbrush when it's too used.
It is cool because as u can change head; you can build different head picks for lots of uses. Braun toothbrush gives 35.000 vibrations each minute. I read than autopickers gave 40.000. I am preparing heads. They are ready tomorrow cause i must buy needles. But heads are ready to welcome the needles. I cut the brush. The vibrating tube is large enough (but not too much) to room the needles.
I hope it will work. It may...
I choosed to build myself cause i find the real automachines are bulky and expensive.
Anyone has already tried this way of building auto ?
Please if any advices call me !!!
And sorry for my english !

Good idea let me know how it turns out, but you should boast the volts up to get any real results, but this in turn will wear the motor out faster..
