Unfortunately (for you) it's a German forum and you'll have to register first to see attachments, but there you'll find most excellent pictures of a Wendt, including dimension.

I think the jpgs of the SouthOrd Pickgun that Shrub refered to were lost when the poster closed the site that he had them posted on.

Lots of stuff of interest for the info junkie, like me, that wants EVERYTHING out there on locksmithing/lockpicking.

Indeed there are excellent jpgs of the Wendt Pick Gun with acurrate measurements.

I do not speak a word of German, but with the translation tools on Google and Altavista, I had no problem registering and checking out the site.

Actually, it is not. There are some gems to be found, for sure, but the place is pretty dman slow. Just a handful postings a day. It has not reached the critical mass of members to be really interesting. Most of the people who their stuff are on here as well. Also, the organized people from SSDeV seem to have their own internal communications, I have not seen any SSDeV guy posting there.

Ah so you want to make one,

If you look at my thread on making one from a screwdriver you will see how they work, the way the screwdriver is converted is the standard way most of them are made,

They have a offset cam on the motor and a bearing on a 'yoke' that is pivoted,
