Is it possible for for me to pick a Yale lock which has a restricted somewhat key way ?
I use a SO E100H, but there isnt enough space between the the pins and the base to get the pick to vibrate, it keeps hitting the base and goes nowhere
Is this a frequent problem, and exactly how does one go about resolving this..........it is very frustrating

You shouldn't have any problems with any sort of pick gun in a Yale lock. Especially if its the standard Y1 keyway.
Do you have a picture of the keyway in this lock thats causing you so much difficulty?

Sorry for not replying earlier
Sure I can put up a pic of the lock, if I only knew how
better still, can I email any of you the pics and maybe you could post it up, if possible ?
Like I said earlier this yale lock has very little space, just enough for the pic to squeeze through, which leaves almost no space for any vibrations to take place
I would love to post the pics of it, if someone could just help me out

Sadly Romster does not post to the forums anymore, but as he said you should have no problems with a std Yale lock. Keep trying.

The blade doesnt have to be 90' to the pins, get it in there anyway you can and use it, if its a tight keyway then you may need to move down a blade size,
Good luck with the SO though,

The Yale euro wont be picked with the needle in there at right angles to the pins, like shrub says. Angle the needle off at about 45 degreees i the keyway just above the pins. It should open fairly easily.
