homemade barrel lock picks(gas meter)

Postby Chitown25 » 22 Nov 2006 17:30

Hi,
Im new to the site and this is my first post. I just bought a house and there is a lock on the gas meter. Service has been granted to house but gas company says it will be a week before they can come out and beside they say there shouldnt be a lock on meter(no recoed). My ? is is there any home made device I can make out of everyday hardware store items that will open this lock as we are in chicago and probably wont make it a week without heat. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanx,
Chitown25

No! We cannot help you remove something that is not yours. If the utility company put it there then it needs to be removed by a competent person from the company.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
