Double wafer tension wrenches.

What do you use for tension wrenches for double wafter locks? The wiper blade insert doesnt work because its too narrow. How do you make them?

the only double sided wafers I deal with are strictly automotive door locks and ohhh man was I having trouble with those...

I finally started copying automotive style tension wrenches with notches that bite into the top and bottom of the keyway and have been getting a lot of success out of 6-8 wafer double sided locks.

Keep in mind with hacksaw blades your free to make any size/shape of tension wrench you feel you want and certain wiper blades are much wider than others I can't say I have had much sucess with plain style tension wrenches though.
If you can't make it work try yelling "aww d*****t!" and throwing your tools it never worked for my pops but it entertained me :)

Automotive doors are exactly what im talking about. My friend was just locked out of his car and we had to call the AA cuz my tension wrench was too narrow. Could you describe how the wrench bites onto the edges? And how do you have access to both the top and bottom wafers?

Double pronged tension wrench,

Both the same thing really, have a look around site as there are home made ones posted and if you look in the sites sponcer shop you can see commercial ones i assume,

For now due to the auto theme the thread is locked,
