Tubular LockPick

Postby WeedIsMyCheat » 2 Jun 2007 12:04

YOo,

I've been searching for tubular lockpicking techniques for quite some time now and I also find tubular lockpicks but they are to expensive for me.

So I searched for different ways and now I came on a site where they told me to get some fast drying clay and stick it in the lock to get impressions
and they you would have a key for this lock.

So I was wondering has anybody tried this?
or knows an other easy/cheap/fast way for lockpicking an Tubular Lock?

Greetz,

First, what you are asking is an advanced topic. Second, it's not as easy as you seem to be hoping is is. Third, your signature says imagination is more important than knowledge. I disagree with that. I have no imagination, but I do have the knowledge to impression keys. 8)

All you'll get by sticking a glob of clay onto the lock is a lock you'll end up having to throw away. An allen wrench filed down on both sides and a stiff wire will get a tubular lock open. And if you haven't bought a pick tool yet for these locks, I would hold off and save for the Peterson Pro pick tool. It'll open most tubular locks out there and works way better than anything they sell on SouthOrd. Wish I had known that before I bought mines from SO.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Nope, but I can tell ya how to break into a barn with a circular saw and a really long extention cord. It has to be long enough to plug in at your house. Otherwise they will know you've been there when they get the electric bill.
