Drill, Scissors, or Toothbrush?

Postby slojewski » 8 Aug 2008 11:12

I am just getting into lock picking, and I bought a small kit already for manual work, but I want to see about making a pick gun. What would the community say is "better", and by better i mean to ask what is easier to use, easier to make, cheaper to produce, feels better, et cetera...

I can't speak for the community, but out of my oralB humming bird gun, homade snap guns, and Black and Decker electric scissors I defiantely have to go with the scissors if only for the ergonomic grip and easy conversion. Still though, pretty unreliable. It works faster when it works, but I would still rather spare the wear and tear on a lock and use a hook/halfdiamond and take a couple more seconds. That's my 2cents
