hi every one in lock pick land.
just got some 2 in 1 picks and was wondering at what height to cut thepick lever,any thoughts! :?

You should post this in the European locks forum. Hardly any of us have a clue about lever locks.

It all depends on what lock you want it for, generally you would have them both the same height to get this height start off by making them so it just fits in the keyhole, have a go useing it and you will soon work out if you need to take a little more off, the best way is to look at either the key blank for that lock or open the lock and work it out, the longer the better in my view but ive had no real instruction on this myself only home made ones,

If it fits in the key hole it should be ok, dont force anything whilst picking or they could break.

1 ) Dont cut them if RB or Souber as they will quickly break, file them to size only!!

2 ) you file to fit the talon at the door, though RB are already sized for union 3 lever.

3 ) If for safes etc you always file to size at the door. in some safes the lever lifter leg is often a fraction longer than the bolt throwing leg.
