It's a good example of how master keying destroys security - not improves it.

The system is big approx 100-200 locks through multiple doors, not complex. This is a spare from one of those doors.
The master key systems works by the following
1 key opens only one lock. ie this key only opens this lock and no other,
1 Master key opens every lock on site.
