Key hight identifyer

Postby Koek » 28 May 2006 10:26

Well, i don't know if this is the right section, if not please move..
So, on to the "Key hight identifyer."
It would be no problems to make one, BUT noone seems to know the hights? Or am i just plain blind? Like say position 9 is 3 mm. Or something like that.. Don't know..
So if anybody knows the heights PLEASE tell! Or if anybody has a set of hight keys 1-9, please meausure them, and tell !
If i where to aquire these hights, i would make a Key hight identifyer card in some sort of metal, as i have the tools to do so. Then test it, and then make very detailed plans on how to make, and use it! So i BEG YOU tell me the hights for humanitys sake

P.S It's the European RUKO keys i'm talking about..

Ok from some code software i have for a ruko key blank i have as follows;

0 cut 8.0 mm
1 cut 7.7
2 cut 7.4
3 cut 7.1
4 cut 6.8
5 cut 6.5
6 cut 6.2
7 cut 5.9
8 cut 5.6
9 cut 5.3

These are the measurements from the bottom of the key to the cut height.

I hope that helps
