I was just wondering if there was any advice or tutorial on using the Falle lever picks and torsion tool. I just bought a set, and have no clue as to how to use the torsion tool.....
Read the guide I made that just happens to be stickied in the 'locks' section.
The tension tool is exactly the same as the one in my guide, and functions in the same way. You insert it into the key way and feel for the notch in the bolt to hook on to and do it until you feel the bolt has been moved a bit and is applying tension.
As above, top tools but be gentle and they won't bend or snap. Dont put any side pressure on them and they will work fine.
Also good for checking the levers as you get fine feedback regarding resistance and conditions (greasy, dry, gritty/dirty) of the levers
I've made different inserts for the tension bar to fit specific locks and changed the grub screw to a flat bit that can be tightened with the pick handle
