Warrant work can be a bit of a closed shop. If you are any good at picking they will track you down and try you out. If you are already doing warrants, can pick and get on with the Warrant Officer then you are safe and it will be hard to replace you. I've had a few people trying to cut my grass when I've been on holiday etc and the Warrant Officers give me the low down on them. If you are not up to scratch you will drop yourself in it and can burn your bridges.
Make sure you are fully confident on most locks and that you have the balls to back up the Warrant Officer if it gets hairy before you cover any work. You may be a sound bloke but the Warrant Officer gets paid on completion of the jobs and will be wanting guaranteed entry. Fail to open any doors before he gets to know you and you wont get another shot.
I unfortunately can't give out names of companies to try out as most already have their compliment of Locksmiths who are getting pissed of by the Lockie that has done a two day course and realises he cant make a living on call outs trying to move in on their territory.
I don't want to appear unhelpfull so PM me if you want any more details.

hi, a company to start at is richburns
they pay 125 a full day and you are welcome to work for them.
ive had it with them knocking prices down so if they want me they are going to have to pay 170 a full day.
im worth more than 125 and i wont lower my self to that price.
