Just a quick note to all the uk trading locksmiths, the ICL Summer meet and open day is being held in Nottingham on the 14th of July 2007, Entrance into the event is free and is open to all trading locksmiths.

There will be some excellent exhibitors including;
ICL
SKS
Deseo
Pickbuster
OBD auto key programming equipment
Souther Grilles
Window parts
Cyber Locks

All exhibitors will be running training and demos on each of the stands through the day, with a busy schedule of classes and presentations in the the second function room.

appologies to the hobby guys, but the event is trading locksmiths only, and as mentioned is free.

Below is the list of free classes available throughout the day, in addition all exhibitors will be conducting training on their stands in the main room, All trading locksmiths on 101 are welcome to attend, and its all free of charge.
some of the training on the stands all day includes

Vehicle programming from OBD using their latest diagnostic equipment and simulators.

BS lock picking using curtain picks and decoders
Lever padlock picking
Disk detainer padlock picking
Laser track auto lock picking
Auto overlifting

Fitting upvc repair strips.

Programme of events

10:00 – Official opening to all

10:45 to 11:15 – Demonstration of Pickbuster
Bring your bumpable locks to be treated and see for yourself.

11:30 to 12:00 – Cyberlocks
Biometric access control and magnetic access control systems; installer opportunities

12:15 to 13:00 – WindowParts
Demonstration of Flexilock product; how to fit; how to toe and heel uPVC door.

14:00 to 14:30 – Grill Systems
Alan Scothern will be giving a demonstration of fitting grill systems; national fitting
opportunities

15:00 to 16:00 – Don Braidwood UPVC
Demo of tilt and turn. includes demonstrating both systems ( turn before tilt & tilt before turn ) Explaining all the working parts, & to fit a new gearing. Also showing how to adjust & replace the hinges, drive gears & stay arms.
The same principle for the tilt and turn drive gear applies to patio door tilt and slide.
Also using glazing models to discuss the beads & glazing
