Well hi everyone, I'm new to this sport and from the UK.
I have just purchased a set of picks from Devon locks (Southord C801 9 piece set) and have had success with a couple of locks:
A Wolfdog which just seemed way too easy.
An old Tri-Circle 264 which I managed after figuring out the security pins and a bit of graphite (It had a spool on No. 1 pin which i thought was strange).
I'm now stuck on a laminated Yale padlock (p125 series I think).
I suspect there are spools inside and maybe bevels on the plug.
The problem I am having is with the plug. when I start to put any tension on the wrench the plug moves about in the padlock before any rotation happens. this means I'm having difficulty finding the binding pin to start. No.s 3,4and5 seem to bind at the same time and feel like they are grinding for want of a better word. Thus I'm finding it getting feedback f them.
I hope this post is clear enough, as it's my first on here. Any help/advice is appreciated.
