what is "anti pick drivers & anti pick profile"

im very new to all this can someone help me

ive got 2 lock`s i want to pick....i undrestand picking a standard yale lock with a rake or dimond an tention rench.. but this looks complicated .....they are both Zone locks Cylinder & Thumbturn......Contract Euro Profile Cylinder

how would i pick it......thankyou...thankyou for any help!!...i find these fourms are the best way to learn

If these spec are right, then the only thing that should make it different from a standard 5 or pin tumblar lock is that it has serrated driver pins. Do some looking through the Pick Fu section and you'll find lots of discussion on different ways to deal with them. I don't own any of these locks, so I don't know exactly what security pins may be in them. Good luck.

Sand your picks so they are smooth, and round the edges of the shafts, where the edge is sharp. then learn to pick or rake with light tension.

do not think of pins dropping as a problem, its ok if pins drop, you shouldn't let this make you go hard on the tension. some of those are not set pins anyway, they are binding pins. Forget your preconcieved notions and let the locks teach you how to pick and what works best.
