Hi guys,

looks at this site

here they have feeler gauge or thickness gauge in German "fühlerlehrenband"

on a roll,length 5 meters,width 13 centimeters, and a thickness about 0.50 milimeters,for 6,64 euro the roll.

harlekin, can you translate som eof the other specifics of the metal into english, please? Is it high enough carbon and tempering to work as a pick?

It's often made out of hardend spring steel, or normal carbon-steel.
But u can buy some expensive ones made from stainless steel.
If you search the internet you will find many dealers.

I think this "fühlerlehrenband" can be found in your local hardware store too.
