this one is tricky guys. if installed properly it's a hard thing to open if you don't know with what you are dealing.

bolts are moving separetely from whemselves, and when you want to turn one you must remove the key so it can change side and then work with another bolt. if you try doing that with key inserted into the lock you just stop because of "another lock". so it looks like 2 in 1 lock  but it's just on it's own with some distraction/disturbing ingeener idea. it's constructed of all 12 levers, 6 on each side. enjoy :) i have two of these so would likely exchange one for something interesting(give it a try if you want and pm me)

to pin_pusher:

haven't tried yet to pick it but here are some clues. there is a ward at the end of the post so 3in1 pick would do the job, but considering lock is doubled it would consume twice much time(up and bottom bolt, removing, rotating pick, changing sides. every one turn must be followed by removing the key and inserting it again. 4 times overall). but there are no antipick notches so wouldn't be a tough problem i suppose. if we want we can make some of our own:) if 3in1 pick wouldn't fit in the keyway, we can try just torguing the bolt, and use a wire e.g. spoke. i consider this lock very safe if installed properly because of it's uniqe turning key mechanism design. it's just to confusing if you don't know the lock. i think that's the anti pick measurement.

Hope I am not interfering, but to me it seems like the lock can be picked with a 2-1, only relocate it after picking one side.

Or is part of the mechanism not visible in the pictures?

Anyway, good luck :)

as i said there is a ward at the end which can be seen on key design which prevents from using 2in1 pick. simple, cheap measurement but a lot more complex tool to do. i think mottura would be a nice lock if was posted and warded.

ab
