Strange dimple lockpick

Postby jamartin » 23 Jun 2011 10:32

I found a video of strange picks named "Dimple/kaba lockpicks".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6_mhZx9YdI

Posible supplier/manufacturer:

http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/208785564/Locksmith_Tool_lock_pick_for_Dimple.html

Any idea of how these are used? ¿maybe some type rake?

Im guessing that the outer parts of that pick are for alingment while the center part is the pick that is probably used as a type of "rip out" rake. possibly while using the pick for turning at the same time, meaning that those two parts that fill the keyway on either side of the center pick, are applying some kind of turning force.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
