BKS 540 padlock (Germany?)

I opened this padlock after months of attempt. It helps if the shackle is depressed to remove some pressure on the locking dogs. Very solid and good quality.
I have not been able to find any information regarding this lock, but I presume it is similar to ABUS.
This lock seemed to have serrated and spool pins. I had a number of false sets and resets before getting all the pins lined up.
Anyone seen a similar lock?
Now I need to impression a key. It does not appear that the core can be removed.

Nice job picking it, very cool vintage lock.

I'm willing to bet that bottom plate slides out if that pin in the shackle hole is moved, and it may only move while the key is turned.
