BKS PZ 5 Pins

Postby Tumay » 5 Jun 2021 14:01

BKS PZ cylinder, 5 pins, although it is a very simple construction, it is not easy to pick. The first and the third pins are self-seating, just the touch they get when we move from pin to pin is enough. The fifth, fourth and second pins are important, I repeat that the first and third only need that light touch that they receive without intention and no more because if not ...... It does not forgive mistakes!!!

Nice picking, that bitting was tough. I've always liked BKS cylinders.

Thanks for sharing!

You've picked it quite fast. Also nice to see you using the most unappreciated pick, the half diamond.
BKS is interesting as it's spools are very long and sharp. By far not an easy lock to pick.

can also be picked with a regular hook, but in this case the half diamond is the best, most optimal.
