Soz, noob here. i need help

I've been looking at picking locks, but all i really get is apply pressure to jam the levers then pick each one at a time. im learning from here currently - http://www.gregmiller.net/locks/mitguide/ Ive also been trying to learn how to pick simple 4 didgit bike combination locks, can ne1 help me with that?

Basically that is all you need to know for basic picking. Now it is just a matter of practice and developing the feel for setting pins. As for the bike combination lock, I would need more information. Does it have a brand name?

Im not really looking at any specific type, i was wondering if there was a way to work out the combinations. And i have fully understood the guides on picking and things but run into a problem... I have no picks or a torque wrench. Im looking into buying a set but for now i wanted to know if theres a simple way of making a simple pair to use for now.

Different brands of 4 digit combination locks have different means of manipulation. For most Sesamee locks there is a tool called a sesamee deoder, for Master 175 locks a simple feeler guage with a line will do, see masterunlocked.com. And peterson picks makes a tool that can bypass the combination altogether on both locks. Others all you have to do is simply pull on the shackle and turn the disk until it turns more freely, then the corrosponding number is the one you're looking for. As for making picks easily, hair pins, saftey pins, can have their tip bent upwards. But for long laster, better picks, you should do a search for Pyro's video. Good-luck.

yeah bike locks are easy, i do it for my party trick with my yes closed. just pull the lock quite hard and turn each dial starting from the end it opens. the dial will get stiff thats the number. move on to the next one and so on and wholla the lock opens and everyone thinks your magic

Unfortunately, the trick only works on low brand bike locks, and some suitcase locks. However, on any high (speaking in terms of bike locks) name brand lock i.e Sesamee, or Master 175 that trick will not work.
