It is always interesting to know details about high-security locks. Althought I haven't yet read it fully, the DOM seems to have interesting features (for example the profile that prevents the pin from rotating).
The passive control pins seem also interesting idea although easy to pick as a key can be made one-fit-it all type to the vertical control pins. I guess they require the cylinder to be installed a certain way if they are not spring loaded. Is this true? As if the lock is installed the other way, the pins will fall and block the cylinder from turning.
Unfortunatly, though I do have a couple of these locks, I am unable to see the paper, or read that code that comes up when I try to look at it, does anyone have a suggestion on how this could be seen in the clear?
Im on a cafe machine, when i tried the download, i got a box that said I do not have the required privileges to download the program. I think the machine has picked up a lot of unwanted code and has as usual with cafe machines, crashed or locked up because of them, in the past, so they are not letting people download programs, but thanks anyway.
