hi,
got to a job yesterday, mila euro tryed picking with electric pick no joy, plug woudnt even turn a bit :twisted: are these locks hard to pick? anyone had any sucess with them?

mila generaly fall open, but dependent on biting you can get a tricky one as in any lock.

mila for some reason often pick to the locked position easier, or maybe its just me.

keep trying as mila are a fairly simple lock on the whole, but you will always get the odd one.

Try raking them open with the rake from a majestic set or similar that has 2 sharp points like a key cut. Done a few of these and most open easier by hand than with the gun, very light tension also.

I had a ISEO cylinder the other day to bits and it had 3 spool pins it was a 6 pin one

Note that i said it was a 6 pin one as i lost one :? on the floor :shock:

I can pick most ISEO's with falle safe picks numbers 3 & 4 shallow curve pick and one of the rakes

Alot quick than i can with a electric pick :?

ISEO's usually open OK with the HPC gun, although you do get the odd bugger, like most brands.

I see a lot of these on warrants and can usually tell fairly quickly if the gun will get them easily or not. If the plug moves after a few seconds where the pins are set but an anti-pick or two (or three) has been jumped into then generally I know it'll open quite quickly.

Not come across an awkward Mila yet but surely only a matter of time!

and in the best tradition of locks - it'll be the one when you say (only take a few seconds!)
