lever lock 7 or 8 levers

Postby Priit » 9 May 2005 11:27

Hi. I am in trouble with an old safe. It looks like:

I have examined the lock a little bit. Seems like it contains 7 or 8 levers. I think 7 and the 8-th is some kinde of plate(I'm not sure)
A lever looks something like this:

I am not sure about the location of gating, and i dont want to drill it... I`m afraid to ruin it, because I dont know where exactly to drill

A key-blank that fits is JMA 101G
Key looks like this:

Does anybody know anything about that lock. like a construction or something. Or maby somebody have a blueprint... it would be very helpful

Thanks, from Estonia :)

it is extremely strong lock, and force method cant be used... and i cant pick it because of the saw type of gate. Only method to open it is to drill, I think....

I got it open by drilling one little hole... :) it was just luck... :D

no wonder that I couldn't pick it....
lever looks like disaster... :)

And ironic thing is - a spare key was inside the safe...

isn't it a clever lever :D
