Theres a show on our sky tv called sexy cam or somthing, its a hidden camera show that has some sexual gags in it basically,

Ive only seen bits of the odd one here and there but one i did see was set up like a phone in internet porn show thing,

They called locksmiths in to try and open a locked box before they went on air,

Just as the locksmith was looking like he was getting it open they all rushed around and said they couldnt wait they were on air,

They then proceeded to strip the lockie of his shirt and play various tricks or scenarios on him as if it was part of the show lol

They tried 3 or 4 lockies i think and all of them took their time and didnt get them open bar one who used a pick gun and had it open before they could get the trick gogin properly lol

Bet he never picks that quick now 8)

Its an often thoguht about fable that were called out to women chaind to the bed in fluffy handcuffs etc but i did see another program once where the locksmith was specifically for the fetish scene, he made shackles etc but also did call outs to the handcuffs etc, it wasnt in the uk, probably holland,

Well if you look about 2 hours to the way of sun rise from your island and locate the city of Tampere and from there you can find that block of cheese...

ive seen a twist on the shows where they expose the worst peopel int he trade where they picked on a locksmith that was over charging and just decided to put him through some really odd situations. They did the
"attractive girl trying to get in to some one else's house"
"Guy gets in the house and realizes his wife has left him, kids, dog and worst of all the TV are gone"

And they finished it off with a girl locked out and when he follows him in for payment theres a guy in a full gimp costume chained to the radiator. just to see what reaction they could get out of him.

Im gonna have a guess at an Abloy or Abloy type based on the screw holding down the clip where you would normally expect the bible. and it looks like a rim cylinder fit? cant give you a model

I'd say Disklock Pro.

Oh, by the way, my pic was a DOM (as man yof you guessed right), but ix6KG. A HT would have deeper "grooves" in the plug where the pins are.

nekret, bluestar: Nope, it ain't Disklock Pro or a safe lock cylinder. It is from a common household door....so what is it? ;)

Well I think I reveal the correct answer, as you are close enough: Abloy Classic, mortice fit. The lock cylinder is really old and more pictures of it can be found here: http://koti.mbnet.fi/einstein/guessthelockanswer/

The cylinder in question can not be anything other than Classic, as the Profile was not produced into those kind of cylinders as pictured. The cylinder type changed because the Profile has larger key and the hole in the face of the cylinder is not big enough for Profile key.

Correction: It is something between rim fit and mortice fit. The latch mechanism and bolt is rim fit on the surface of the door, but the lock cylinder is inside the door. On newer style rim fits the cylinder can sit outside the door with the help of a "riser".
