Unfortunately there are a few companies out there that were known to copy others keys, with this in mind some locksmiths let some incorrectly cut keys out into the public arena and these have been copied. You will know if it has happened to you as you will by now have noticed they only work on locks with low cuts. Honest I have nothing to do with UK Bumpkeys   . And if they don't work you have no come backs.

I may be quiet but that doesn't mean what I do say has any less relevance.

Better to keep your mouth shut and appear an idiot that to open it and remove all doubt.

so cool to spam is what you are saying ? at least have the balls to advertise your site who will sell to all, rather than spam under umpteen alias names.

i look at the knowledgeable who have been on this forum with worthwhile posts, the likes of chris b , pinky , varjeal , romstar , bwells , toomushto drink etc etc , and wonder what ever happened to these knowledgeable guys, and whyhave they all given up on us, then i read these threads and all becomes very clear.

I think those great people you speak of have probably had enough of whimpering and moaning members, i dont post a great deal so my words probably dont carry any weight, but if you look at a lot of threads on here, they appear to be full of self promoted gestapo members, there are a lot of arrogant members on here that are only to willing to jump down newbie's throats just because they ask what appears to be a question asked before, am i alone here when i say this board is becoming a bit anal cos of some of its members?
I'm not a locksmith nor do i wish to become one, i'm just someone who has an interest in this field, i sit in my little room and experiment picking the few locks i have available, it brings me a lot of joy when i can compromise a lock using the vast information from very knowledgeable people on here, i for one appreciate the time that these people spend just to give others like myself some insight into this field.
Some of you though ought to take a step back and look at yourselves, you appear to forget, you were once like that novice, you had a thirst for knowledge, a passion even, but i see more and more of these experienced guys shrugging their shoulders and saying "whats the use", it seems like they are being replaced with people that take a joy in shouting down those less experienced, the community spirit is still here, but it is slowly being erroded by the said self promotd gestapo types.
agreeing with lockey he hit the nail on the head.

Agree totally.

Unless you make a post that is humerous or intended to add to the joviality of previous threads, a bit of friendly banter perhaps, then unless you have some constructive criticism or helpful advice to add, then best to keep quiet.

"if you have nothing to say, say nothing" as it were.

A recent question from a newbie is an example. The thread starter made clear in his Subject line that it concerned UK locksmiths and UK business advice. The thread itself was only of interest to UK lockies who had an opinion on it's content. All fine until The Janitor (nowhere near UK) jumped in purely to antagonise. There followed several posts of slanging, nothing relevant to the original thread, so the impetus of the original discussion was lost.

If someone posts a question that has been asked before a million times, then ignore it if it gets on your nerves. Someone will reply, another noob perhaps, maybe even it is a link to a previous post or to direct to the search facility.

You cant very well sit thru an entire tv programme right to the end moaning about it and criticising it when there is the off switch. Or completely finish a meal in a restaurant before complaining!

regards
