Souber key & lever reader kit and Union MH

Does anyone have the souber key & lever reader kit? I saw one on a course, but it was a while ago. I ordered one from SKS yesterday for a job tomorrow, but their carrier has sent my parcel several counties in the wrong direction.

Do its charts cover the translating of a Union 2-lever's lever heights and wards into a Union MH key number? Or do they just cover Union 3-lever (and Chubbs)?

You get (or i did) 4 credit cards with the cuts in and 2 alloy cards.

It's the paperwork I'm interested in. With my best magnifying glass I can just about make out what key and lever reader credit cards you get, from the catalogue picture. I'm just wondering, however, if the decoding charts translate 2-lever lever-heights plus wards into key numbers. From what I remember the translation for 3-lever is straightforward as they're not warded.

My customer tomorrow has lost the keys to some internal doors with Unions. I won't be going there until the afternoon.

Great. Parcel finally arrived from SKS a day late. Lever and key reader not in parcel; it's out of stock, which no-one thought to mention when I phoned the order in! Going off SKS; second cock-up in a row.

I don't suppose anyone knows where 'Union 2- and 3- lever height to key number' conversion charts might be posted on the internet, do they?

the kit only covers 3 lever translation chart anyway, so it wouldnt have helped you much on a 2 lever union lock.

Though union 2 lever locks only have 20 different differs, so if only 20 possible keys it shouldnt take too long to work out, also quite simple to cut key by hand if you have the blanks.

in the reader kit you get

1 x card reader to read chubb 114 key cuts
1 x card reader to read chubb 110 key cuts
1 x card to read 3 lever union keys
1 x chubb 114 lever reader
1 x chubb 110 lever reader

handy if carrying out rekeys.

There seem to almost as many wardings as differs, but I've just phoned Duffells (who've never let me down!) and sorted out that there seem to be six different wardings.

So I'm off to get the blanks and then I can practise my hand-filing techiques (or just get the 11 MH keys I don't happen to have in my key bin).

I've got some three lever Unions to do as well though, so I'm still trying to put my hands on the three lever chart.

I got mine from SKS but they just came in a bag as the cards, i got no paperwork with them
