Everybody is raveing on about the wendt gun, does this mean that the southord and the HPC are a wasted investment? What about the multipick system? Im normally pritty sicessfull using standard picks, though im thinking of investing in a gun to speed things up. Oh ye ive heard that the Wendt gun is available from Keyprint.

Looks like it was removed. I'll say no more in case there was good reason for it, but I would appreciate an explanation.

Keyworks, no they are not wasted investment, you make of tools what you make of them, plenty of people use those tools succesfully each and every day, its a practise thing again.

The wendt gun is over hyped.

The multipick gun is a lock destroyer so i believe but i have not personally tried that one so i cant say.

The wendt review was removed because it was causing problems eleswhere by people who dont apprechiate an honest opinion but i can pm it to you if you wish.

The wendt gun is a far quicker opening than hpc , and picks a larger variety of cylinders, most with the gun are having good success rates quickly with cylinders that previously they needed to drill.

The HPC gun is a good investment and works well on most cylinder types, buying the wendt blades to put on the hpc gun increases speed of opening and variety of openings.
I carry 2 HPC guns and always use as 1st choice gun as no set up time, the wendt comes out for GeGe locks etc that the hpc fails on with good results.

best to invest in an hpc or southord to start, get proficient with this before upgrading, as pick guns dont suit everyone.

Multipick system is a fast opener, but destroys springs and pins in cheaper lock types, and is bulky as you must carry battery pack to door to plug gun into, so a good fast opener but often destructive too.

Ive had a southord and found it a pain to use due to the button design so would say go for the hpc or wendt( i have both) The wendt does open more locks than the hpc, but i would say the hpc has better reliabilty and build. I say this as ive never heard of any major problems with the hpc's build but there are a few cases of problems with the wendt. I do use the wendt now as its such a good tool but its nice having the back up of the hpc. I have no problem with setup times(about 2mins) as im doing warrant runs but if you were then it could be an issue, especially if your being chased (eh pinky  )
