Hi all, ive had a few peoblems with my 2in1 geting stuck in the talon of the lock, ive been contemplating filing it down slightly but i wanted to get a second (or third) opinion befor i start to trash my tools. Would thid be a good idea? :?

yes you will need to file to size.

depends on the lock you are working on make model etc!

also go chris belchers site he does a pdf file picks on a shoestring
wich will show you how to make your own 2in1s.

i believe shrub also makes a lot of his own picks might be worth
talking to him.

Yes commercial 2 in 1's need to be filed to suit the lock, whatever you do hold the bit in the vice and file and not the tube or else you may find the commercial ones will break off.

It is expected to file them to size and that you will need a few to cover most locks.

Shrub Bonez says you make alot of your own tools, can you give me any details, or is there alot of stuff already posted, if so can you recomend some threads ? :)
