hi everyone ive just completed the yp adverts for the man south this year and after the first visit from the rep a couple of weeks ago ive been told that you no longer need to list your address in your advert anymore and if you wanted you can also list prices.im going for half a page this year and the yp are giving me free 0845 numbers which will tag on my bt line and wont cost me a penny piece the reason im giving this a try instead of listing my home number is that most of my jobs seem to be very local and i want to cover other areas too they have confirmed that they will be no ......before any adverts or 111111 but instead they will be listing companys starting with a up to a maximum of five aaaaa any any more than five would be put at the back of the listings im sure it wont make much difference as everyone will start there name with aaaaa.

with yor listing in yellow pages you also get into yell.com, however as I have just found out it only covers about a three mile area round where you are based. If you want to cover a larger area guess what it costs. I work in a rural area North of Scotland close to a boundary change in YP. For coverage of the area I am most cost effective for customers in in terms of travelling an enhanced listing cost £250 plus another £150 to cover the adjoining area. This something to consider if you work in a rural area as businesses or insurance work requiring a locksmith service search Yell using adress and postcode.
