An picked locking cylinder will lock again after each full rotation of the plug.
Locks that have been locked multiple times must be picked again after each full rotation of the plug.
The tool is build of clothes hanger, the spring is made springsteel, diameter around 1 mm and same aluminium sheet.

It looks like it has a 'triger' of sorts - is this right?

Nice work though. :)

The bracket has a long and opposed a short part.
The short site must into the U-frame befor fliping.
Now pull down the U-frame, bracket turn a half rotation and trigger stop with the long bracket.

That's not a bad idea.. hadn't really thought about doing that.

How reliable is it? :)

The tool is absolutely reliable. I use the tool since one and a half year and it does work to go like clockwork

I have yet a idee to improve the tool, you can curing the spike.

I plan to build one soon on lathe and mill, which i hope will be similar to the rytan plug spinners, though i'm not too sure how the button system works.

Nice work btw.

The Sytem to rytan plug spinner work after prinzip of a springsheet which has been twisted. Same people take a saw blade to reverse engineering.

Skold, the blade is fastened to the button and the stem is fastened to the thumb turn part, the end is turned maually and then 2 spigots on the stem push into 2 slots in the end near the blade end which goes in the lock.

The button has a seelock pin in the side to stop it turning.

Pushin gthe button presses the blade lengthways and pushes the spigots that are in their holes out and the blade 'twists' back.

If your stuck ill pm you a pic or two of my souber tools one which is a copy of the ryton one.

A wiper blade insert is a good material for the blade as you dont need to alter it other than cutting to length.

Nice topic! This is definetly on my to-do list.
I'm thinking about using a ground-down hex/allen key as the actual spinner. Is that amount of spring necessary? Can you do it with a much shorter piece of spring?

Next is to make a bigger pickset to hold it
