The New BS3621-2004 Legge and assec locks

well guys

ive played extensively with 20 of these locks, a very slight height difference exists, mainly on the 3 lever, but very slight, but enough to trouble the pin and cam.

the good news however is that the safeventures pin and cam and their plastercine kit still defeat this lock with ease, though due to minute height differences is a little trickier on the pin and cam.
you rely much heavier on the plastercine impression when using p& c as its far harder to work down as a true pin and cam than before and sometimes impossible too work down this way.
but with the impression it is still a simple opening.

better news on the picking front guys, ive had top rate success picking these with the CB pick with the new L wire available as an extra, all have picked with this new wire and cb tool.
ive also had successes on this lock with the rb tool, which wasnt possible before, i believe mark francises tool also beats this lock.

the legge lock is not to be feared at all, whatever your weapon guys, what ever make of curtain pick you use, or with the existing pin and cam or plastercine kit, this one should pose little problem.

Is the longer CB wire needed on most of the new BS locks? I must admit i havent got around to aquireing any more than the ERA's.

a different wire is required for the fortress, the legge and the securefast lock, all are very different and suited to the respective locks, the securefast and the fortress are both much longer.
