5 pin lock

Postby pickguy » 9 May 2006 4:59

I am interested in lockpicking for a very long time but i never could find some guides until recently. I found this website when i had the idea to to search about lockpicking. Now i want to start lockpicking. I want to start with an ordinary lock that has almost every house(i think it's a 5 pin thumbler lock). I would be thankfull if anybody could post a guide with picktures and if possible, a video(if possible i would like to learn how to pick with a safety pin and a screwdriver).

sorry if the english is bad, i live in Crotaia.

- Google for "lockpicking guide"
- Forget about safety pins and buy or make some real picks
- You should really choose another account name because "master thief" sounds very provocative in this place.

why is "master thief" provocative?

I found some guides about making tools.
What is the best thing of wich i could make a pick and what kind of pick do i need for an ordinary house door.
I found stuff on these links

You really need us to tell you why your user name is provocative, there was a member with the same name last year, why dont you look up at what responce he got and he wasnt suggesting what i think your suggesting.

Why do you want to pick locks?

What locks are you wantig to pick?

Are they your locks?

Are they on your house, a buddys or a strangers?

Have you read the FAQ's on site?

Have you read the stickies o site?

Have you searched for how to make picks on this site?

Have you searched for what to make picks from on this site?

Have you read the MIT guide?

That's what I meant. :D
Let's just say most people here are very sensitive about illegal things. Even if it's just a nick name.

your username alone , will stop anyone on site giving you any help or info, we dont encourage wrong doers to this site at all, and if you chose the name in jest, then it is in poor taste.

your choice of tools are iffy too !

why not go straight for the big one, and ask how to open a bankers safe with a hammer
