merci ;)

Hi

for info, i bought my tools here: http://www.multipick-service.cc/index_fr.php?mode=elite , i receive there yesterday, transaction without problem ;)

I have one or two little question ;)

I read the famous lockpicking guide from MIT (I feel it's a classic ;) ), but when we pass to pratic, it's a bit more difficult ;)... I succed to lockpick a lock with 3 pin, but i have a problem with a 4 pin's lock :(

Have you some tips for a noob???

Obviously you have mastered the basic technique, because you can pick 3 pins. The secret to picking 4,5 or even 6 pins is practice over and over and over again. Once you have a lock opened, close it immediately and do it again. You did something right, maybe without knowing what you did actually, and this will help to remember the movements you made.

Stick around here, read the FAQs regarding exercises (look for the one made by digital_blue) and keep going. I took up picking in mid-February and was glad to get a cheap padlock open. Now I am playing with 6 pins, two to three being security pins. It is a slow, long process, but it is underway and rewarding in the end.

Also, you might want to join some local locksports group. Many things can be better explained when you are face-to-face with someone. A swiss group can be found here: http://lpspass.lp.funpic.de/

Hope this helps!

Kein Problem.

I don't want to take a bashing for deviating from the official language. So here is a summary: I asked him if there might be security pins in the lock, told him how to distinguish correcly set pins from over/underset pins by feeling, and explained how one could try to distinguish the sounds the pins make when returning after release of tension to find out in what state they were.

That's what happens to me when I read french. I do like french fries, though. :)
