I have just sucessfully? picked my first Garrison euro profile lock, but the cylinder turns but it won't unlock the door.

There seems to be an internal pin at the end of the cylinder, I have tried to push this in whilst still turning the cylinder but it still won't open - one end is a thumb turn

anyone any ideas :?:

A picture of the lock would be nice, as well as some background information on why you want that lock opened.

It would help us help you, so to speak.

Yours,

Jordy

If they have thumb-turns, then you may need to engage the cam at the back of the lock in order to make the central cam turn.

Whitelever, i cant see any pics of your lock on that thread.

You need to use a special tension tool for the thumb turn ones so the cam is pressed in as illusion suggested.
